Amends the Arts Council Act to require the Illinois Arts Council to establish a statewide arts and humanities initiative to capture current Illinois culture, values, and beauty, subject to appropriation.

Initiative runs from January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025, inspired by federal arts and humanities projects from the 1930s.

Eligible applicants may submit art and humanities project ideas to the Council between July 1, 2024 and September 1, 2024.

Illinois Arts Council may consult with the Illinois Humanities Council, Inc., and other arts and cultural institutions in developing the initiative.

Illinois Arts Council authorized to adopt rules establishing criteria for project selection and funding by the State.
