IL SB3333

Amends the Invest in Illinois Act to require the Department to send notices of pending awards to the Minority Leader of the Senate and Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, in addition to the Senate President and House Speaker.

Allows the Minority Leaders of both chambers to object to agreements under the Act within 2 days of notification, alongside the existing objection rights of the Senate President and House Speaker.

Requires the Department to deliver copies of executed agreements to all four legislative leaders (Senate President, House Speaker, and both Minority Leaders) within 2 days if the final award amount differs from the initially notified amount.

Provides that agreements cannot take effect and no funds can be expended unless all four legislative leaders (or their designees) certify they have been notified and do not object, or fail to submit a written objection within 2 days.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
