Amends the Chicago Teacher Pension Fund (CTPF) service credit calculation under the Illinois Pension Code (40 ILCS 5/17-114)

Allows contributors to receive whichever is greater: one day of service credit per day of paid salary, or 10 days of service credit for each 10-day employment period where they worked 50% or more of regularly scheduled hours

Maintains existing provisions that 17 or more days of service in a calendar month equals one month of service credit

Maintains existing provisions that 170 or more days of service or 10 or more months of service in a fiscal year equals one year of service credit
