IL SB3361

Amends the Governmental Joint Purchasing Act to allow governmental units to award contracts based on their own ranking of offerors independent of cooperative purchasing program rankings.

Permits a governmental unit to make contract awards without being bound by how a cooperative purchasing program has ranked the same offerors.

Applies to purchases of personal property, supplies, and services conducted through competitive solicitation procedures.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
