Creates a new Performance Evaluation Advisory Committee to be convened by the State Superintendent of Education on July 1, 2024, to maintain and improve the evaluator training and pre-qualification program in Illinois.

Committee membership includes representatives nominated by program providers (teacher unions, school district management, school districts under Article 34, and regional offices of education) and appointed by the State Superintendent.

Committee shall meet at least quarterly and may meet at the call of its chairperson, with a chairperson selected at the initial meeting.

Committee advises the State Board of Education on evaluator training and pre-qualification programs, including development of administrators' academies, gathering feedback from instructors and participants, sharing best practices, and consulting on proposed rule changes regarding evaluator training.

Effective date is June 15, 2024.
