Amends the Illinois Power of Attorney Act Section 2-8 to protect persons who rely in good faith on copies of documents purporting to establish an agency or power of attorney.

Grants full protection to reliant parties as if they had dealt directly with the principal, regardless of whether an affidavit or certification is provided.

Allows named agents to furnish an "Agent's Certification and Acceptance of Authority" on demand to certify the document is a true copy and the principal is alive with powers unaltered or unterminated.

Specifies that good faith reliance on a power of attorney document protects the reliant without requiring the agent's certification, making certification optional rather than mandatory.

Provides a standardized form for the Agent's Certification and Acceptance of Authority to be completed under penalty of perjury (Class 3 felony under Illinois Criminal Code Section 32-2).
