Appropriates $5,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Route 66 Centennial Commission for centennial-related costs.

Funds support planning and sponsoring official Route 66 centennial events, programs, and activities throughout Illinois.

Commission shall encourage development of programs designed to involve all citizens in Route 66 centennial commemorative activities.

Commission must make available to the public information on Route 66 centennial events happening throughout the State.

Act takes effect July 1, 2024.
