IL SB3445

Amends the Smoke Free Illinois Act definition of "retail tobacco store" to exclude establishments with any type of food or restaurant license.

Removes "liquor" from the list of license types that disqualify an establishment from being classified as a retail tobacco store.

Retail tobacco stores must still derive more than 80% of gross revenue from tobacco sales and related products to qualify for the exemption.

The change allows establishments with food or restaurant licenses to potentially operate as retail tobacco stores, while those with liquor licenses are no longer automatically excluded.

Effective immediately upon enactment.
