Requires municipalities to obtain written support from school districts, community college districts, and park districts before extending redevelopment project area completion dates to the 35th or 47th year.

Municipalities may only submit written support for 35-year extensions within the 5 years prior to the estimated completion date of the redevelopment project.

Municipalities may only submit written support for 47-year extensions within one year prior to the estimated completion date of the redevelopment project.

Applies to redevelopment project areas under the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act of the Illinois Municipal Code effective upon passage.
