Department of Public Health must publish a standardized written summary in layman's language outlining methods for early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer, to be updated every 2 years

Summary shall inform women they should seek mammography services only from facilities certified under the federal Mammography Quality Standards Act of 1992

Summary must include information on medically viable breast cancer treatment alternatives including hormonal, radiological, chemotherapeutic, and surgical treatments, with advantages, disadvantages, risks, and dangers of various procedures

Summary must address dense breast tissue under American College of Radiology guidelines and include statement that mammography is the primary method for early breast cancer detection but no diagnostic tool is 100% effective

Mammography facility operators must provide patients with a printed or digital pamphlet prepared in accordance with Department guidelines and orally review it with the patient; summary shall be translated into Spanish with public information campaign directed at Hispanic women
