IL SB3560

Establishes the Manufacturing Promise Scholarship Program through the Illinois Student Assistance Commission to award scholarships to Illinois residents enrolled in public community colleges or other programs majoring in manufacturing or skilled trades

Requires applicants to be Illinois residents and U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and to be enrolled in a community college or approved program for a degree, certificate, or credential in manufacturing or a skilled trade

Reserves 20% of annual appropriated funds for students from underrepresented areas

Makes scholarships available to traditional college-aged students, adults, and non-traditional students

Recipients are not required to return scholarship funds if they receive an award
