Amends the Eminent Domain Act to authorize the City of Elmhurst to use quick-take powers for property acquisition for a period of 2 years after the effective date.

Quick-take authority applies specifically to a 565 square foot parcel (0.013 acres) on North York Road at I-290/Lake Street in DuPage County, owned by NXE Properties, LLC (PIN 03-35-406-048).

Property acquisition is limited to road construction purposes on North York Road.

The new provisions automatically repeal 3 years after the effective date of the act.

Effective immediately upon passage.
