Increases Medicaid reimbursement rates for inpatient hospital services by 10%, effective January 1, 2025, based on rates in effect January 1, 2024 under the All Patient Refined-Diagnosis Related Groups system.

Increases Medicaid reimbursement rates for outpatient hospital services by 10%, effective January 1, 2025, based on rates in effect January 1, 2024 under the Enhanced Ambulatory Procedure Grouping system.

Requires the Department of Healthcare and Family Services to take all necessary actions to implement the rate increases, including publishing public notices and applying for federal approval of amendments to the Illinois Title XIX State Plan.

Rate increases are subject to federal approval and take effect for dates of service on and after January 1, 2025.

Department may adopt administrative rules as necessary to implement the changes.
