IL SB3702

Amends the State Officials and Employees Ethics Act to allow faculty at public institutions of higher learning to satisfy timesheet requirements through their employment contracts or agreements instead of traditional timekeeping methods.

Applies to faculty classified as tenure system, nontenure system, and those not eligible for overtime pay at public universities (excluding community colleges).

Requires that employment contracts or agreements with public institutions of higher learning provide a means of complying with timesheet documentation requirements.

Maintains existing personnel policy requirements for all state employees regarding work time, travel reimbursement, compensation, and benefits.
