IL SB3756

Amends the Illinois Lottery Law to require the Department of the Lottery's rules allow consumers to redeem all winnings and withdraw unspent money from internet lottery accounts in the same manner the money was deposited.

Establishes an internet program allowing individuals 18 years or older to purchase lottery tickets online without using a retail lottery retailer, with sales restricted to transactions initiated and completed within Illinois.

Requires the Department to adopt rules for program administration including marketing to infrequent players and limitations on individual account purchases.

Permits the Department to offer games through the internet program including Lotto, Lucky Day Lotto, Mega Millions, Powerball, Pick 3, Pick 4, and other draw games available at retail locations.

Section is scheduled to be repealed on July 1, 2025.
