Appropriates $2,360,895,311 total for the Department of Children and Family Services for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024, consisting of $1,478,157,367 in General Funds, $866,456,100 in Other State Funds, and $16,281,844 in Federal Funds.

Allocates $531,924,900 from General Revenue Fund for entire agency operations including personal services ($373,730,500), electronic data processing ($70,748,200), contractual services ($42,263,500), and other operational expenses.

Provides $867,154,200 from General Revenue Fund for grants-in-aid including foster care ($421,389,400), adoption and guardianship services ($153,274,000), family preservation ($38,229,100), and institution and group home care ($222,052,100).

Appropriates $100,000,000 from Build Illinois Bond Fund and $50,000,000 from DCFS Special Purposes Trust Fund for Level of Care Support Services grants and administrative expenses.

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
