Appropriates $138,407,600 from the General Revenue Fund and $13,000,000 from Other State Funds to the Department of Juvenile Justice for fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, totaling $151,407,600.

Allocates funds across multiple operational divisions including General Office ($13,094,400), School District ($9,556,200), Community Services Division ($21,363,500), and five Illinois Youth Centers (Chicago, Harrisburg, Lincoln, Pere Marquette, St. Charles, and Warrenville) totaling $85,848,700.

Appropriates $13,000,000 from the Department of Juvenile Justice Reimbursement and Education Fund for school district programs ($2,500,000), federal programs including additional beds and treatment ($1,500,000), and miscellaneous programs including medical and food costs ($2,500,000).

Includes additional appropriations for statewide hospitalization ($6,200), youth complaint investigation and rights protection ($810,800), and positive behavior intervention and support programs ($75,800).

Takes effect July 1, 2024.
