Appropriates $205,703,600 total for the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024, consisting of $16,250,000 from General Revenue Fund and $189,453,600 from Other State Funds.

Allocates funds from dedicated regulatory funds for specific programs including banking ($23,556,100), real estate licensing ($7,110,800), medical discipline boards ($15,127,600), nursing ($5,857,000), and cannabis regulation ($13,378,200 plus $5,642,600).

Appropriates $16,250,000 from General Revenue Fund for Electronic Data Processing to implement and administer a new licensing system, with an additional $16,250,000 reappropriated from the Professions Licensure Fund.

Provides funding for specialized programs including $4,362,700 for Illinois Center for Nursing, $7,199,200 for medical cannabis regulation, and $407,100 for Office of Real Estate Research at University of Illinois.

Act takes effect July 1, 2024.
