Recognizes the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the State of Israel on May 14, 1948, following the UN partition vote on November 29, 1947.

Acknowledges Israel's historic sovereignty in the Land of Israel with Jerusalem as its capital, Jewish connection to the land over 2,000 years, and Israel's role as a refuge for Holocaust survivors and Jews fleeing persecution worldwide.

Commends Israel's democratic institutions including freedom of speech, association, religion, free press, fair elections, independent judiciary, and LGBTQ+ rights, as well as its achievements in education, healthcare, technology, renewable energy, and humanitarian aid.

Reaffirms the special relationship and bonds of friendship between the United States, Illinois, and Israel based on shared democratic values, strategic interests, and mutual respect spanning 75 years.

Supports Israel's right to defend itself against security threats and reaffirms support for Israel's pursuit of peace with its neighbors, including through the Abraham Accords with the UAE, Morocco, Bahrain, and Sudan.
