Designates March 2023 as Illinois Whole Child Month to recognize the importance of ensuring each student is challenged, supported, healthy, safe, and engaged in learning.

Current education statistics cited include 87% high school graduation rate, 29% of 11th graders meeting or exceeding SAT Math standards, 30% meeting or exceeding SAT English/Language Arts standards, and only 64% of high school seniors enrolling in college within 12 months of graduation.

Urges parents, educators, and community members to support a whole child approach to education that addresses students' comprehensive needs through shared responsibility of students, families, schools, and communities.

Calls on every school in Illinois to celebrate Whole Child Month by adopting and promoting at least one whole child tenet during the month.

Directs presentation of a suitable copy of the resolution to the Illinois Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
