Charles William "Bill" Watts of Havana passed away on June 4, 2024, at age 89, having been born February 12, 1935

Served 60 years as a firefighter and held positions as chief for both the Havana Fire Department and Havana Rural Fire Protection District, named chief emeritus in 2009

Worked as a U.S. Postal Service mail carrier and maintenance worker for Chautauqua National Wildlife Refuge for 30 years before retiring in 1990, and served in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps

Member of Havana Church of Christ, Havana Optimist Club, VFW Post #6408, and American Legion Post #138

Survived by daughters Terri Fox and Penny Roch, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren
