Glen Bote of Milan died on June 8, 2024, at age 87, having been born October 12, 1936, in Harper, Iowa.

Served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years beginning in 1953 and worked for the Rock Island Police Department for 23 years, retiring as captain and director of operations in 1983.

Worked as area security manager for Tyson Foods for 18 years before retiring in 2003.

Survived by his wife Judy of 49.5 years, five children, three granddaughters, two sisters, and several extended family members.
