Congratulates Robert M. "Bob" Tanner on his retirement as president and CEO of Greater Family Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center providing preventive care and chronic disease management

Under Tanner's leadership since 2005, Greater Family Health expanded to 14 sites across five counties with over 400 employees, annual revenues exceeding $48 million, and accreditation in three categories from The Joint Commission

Tanner recruited over 110 active practitioners in six specialties and maintained comprehensive compliance with Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) regulations and numerous state, local, and foundation grants

Prior to leading Greater Family Health, Tanner served as division manager of Aunt Martha's Youth Services in Chicago Heights (1992-2005) and held multiple roles at Maryville Academy in Des Plaines (1981-1992)

Tanner holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Loyola University (1981), Master of Social Work from University of Illinois Chicago (1991), and MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management (2011); received the George M. O'Neill Leadership Award from the Illinois Primary Health Care Association in 2023
