Claude William "Dino" Senecal of South Pekin passed away on July 8, 2024, at age 71.

Born April 17, 1953, in Leominster, Massachusetts; raised by foster parents Henri and Lillian Lavallee; graduated from Auburn High School in 1971.

Served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam and continued serving in the U.S. Navy until retirement.

Survived by three children (Ann, Scott, and Patrick), eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren with one on the way, six sisters, and two former spouses.

Illinois Senate extends condolences to his family and friends, mourning his passing and remembering his kindness, generosity, and sense of humor.
