Keith William Ashbeck of Henry died on June 28, 2024, and the Illinois Senate expresses condolences to his family and loved ones.

Born September 13, 1949, in Chicago to Reuben and Anna Ashbeck; served in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1973.

Worked as a specialty machinist until retirement and was known for his dedication to family, particularly attending his children's and grandchildren's sporting events, performances, and activities.

Preceded in death by his parents, brothers William and Alan Ashbeck, sister Deanna Beck, and several in-laws.

Survived by three children (Victoria, Megan, and David), four grandchildren (Logan, Kenlee, Hannah, and Cecelia), three siblings (Kenneth, Carol, and Richard), and numerous nieces, nephews, and grand-pets.
