Congratulates the Ariston Cafe in Litchfield on its 100th anniversary, celebrating a milestone achieved on July 17, 2024.

Recognizes the Ariston Cafe as the oldest continuously operated cafe on U.S. Highway 66 (Route 66), founded by Greek immigrant Pete Adam in Carlinville in 1924.

Documents the cafe's history including relocation to Litchfield in 1929, move to current location on Old Route 66 North in 1935, and transfer to current owners Will and Michele Law and Marty and Kara Steffens in July 2018.

Notes the cafe was inducted into the Route 66 Hall of Fame in 1992 and placed on the National Register of Historical Places in May 2006.

Directs delivery of the resolution to the Ariston Cafe as a symbol of the Illinois Senate's esteem.
