Illinois Senate expresses condolences on the death of Opal Williams, a member of the Service Employees International Union Healthcare Illinois and Indiana (SEIU HCII) and its African American Caucus.

Opal Williams represented thousands of home care workers employed by Addus Home Care in the Collective Bargaining and Representation (CBR) Department's Home Care Division.

She served as a longtime steward and member at Roseland Hospital on Chicago's South Side and was known for her dedication, compassion, and support to colleagues in the CBR and Member Resource Center.
