Steven Reeder of Kewanee died on September 24, 2024, at age 84.

Born July 18, 1940, in Keithsburg to Benjamin N. and Alice Fay Reeder; graduated from Rock Island High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Worked as a purchasing agent for I.J. Case and later as a salesman for Iowa Battery; was a member of the Midland Golf Club and achieved three holes-in-one.

Married Judy Frakes on May 27, 1997, and is survived by his wife, two children (Ben and Angie), eight grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
