Rosemary McConnaughay of Elburn, formerly of Geneva, passed away on December 17, 2024, at age 89.

Born October 26, 1935, to John and Catherine Brizzolara; graduated from Mt. St. Mary High School in 1953 and married William McConnaughay on May 21, 1955.

Worked in the family business, Geneva Bottling Works, and was known for being sweet, generous, hardworking, and a devout Catholic and animal lover.

Survived by four children (John, Catherine, Janet, and Margaret), seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Illinois Senate extends sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.
