Creates the Task Force on Firearm Insurance to review current and potential future insurance policies covering risks from firearm ownership and use, and to recommend whether Illinois should require firearm owners to carry insurance

Task Force membership includes 4 General Assembly members (appointed by legislative leaders), 2 insurance industry representatives, 2 firearm injury/death experts, 2 firearm advocacy group representatives, and directors or designees from State Police, Insurance, and Public Health

Department of Insurance provides administrative support; members serve without compensation and must be appointed within 90 days of the act taking effect

Task Force must submit findings and recommendations to the Governor and General Assembly by December 31, 2026, with the report published on the Department's website

Task Force dissolves and the section is repealed on January 1, 2027
