IL HB1021

Amends the Park District Code by adding Section 8-60 on "Rescue Trapping"

Prohibits park district police officers, code enforcement officers, and any park district officials or employees with citation authority from ticketing or arresting individuals for setting live traps to capture animals

Protection applies only when the live traps are set with the intention of rescuing the animals

Overrides any other conflicting provision of law regarding this activity

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
