IL HB1066

Prohibits group health plans and accident/health insurers from discriminating against any health care provider with respect to participation or reimbursement, as long as the provider is acting within the scope of their state license or certification

Applies to both group and individual health insurance coverage offered in Illinois

Preserves the ability of health plans, insurers, and the Director of Insurance to establish varying reimbursement rates based on quality or performance measures

Amends the Illinois Insurance Code by adding new Section 370b.2
