School districts serving grades 6-12 that issue student identification cards must include contact information for the National Domestic Violence Hotline, including both the telephone number and text message number

The National Domestic Violence Hotline information must also be printed in student handbooks and custom-printed student planners distributed to grades 6-12

Amends existing School Code sections that already require suicide prevention resources (988 Lifeline, Crisis Text Line, Safe2Help Illinois) on student IDs, adding domestic violence resources as an additional requirement

Applies to both regular school districts and Chicago Public Schools (covered under separate code sections 10-20.81 and 34-18.75)

State Mandates Act may require reimbursement to school districts for compliance costs
