Creates the Tamms Minimum Security Unit Task Force to study repurposing the closed Tamms Minimum Security Unit facility and property in Alexander County, Illinois

Potential repurposing options include mental health services, health services, public safety, law enforcement training, fire services, and medical training

Task Force consists of 11 members including a chair appointed by the Lieutenant Governor, two House members, two Senators, the Director of Corrections, a labor union representative, representatives from Shawnee Community College and Southern Illinois University, the mayor of Tamms, and an Alexander County representative

Members serve without compensation; Task Force meets twice per year or at the chair's call, with administrative support from the Department of Corrections

Task Force must submit recommendations to the Governor and General Assembly by December 31, 2025, and dissolves on January 1, 2026
