Battery against a health care worker while they are performing their job duties would constitute aggravated battery, a Class 3 felony

Defines "health care worker" by reference to the Health Care Violence Prevention Act, broadening the category of protected individuals beyond nurses

Amends Section 12-3.05 of the Criminal Code of 2012 (720 ILCS 5/12-3.05)
