IL HB1615

Amends the Flag Display Act to allow U.S. flags at county courthouses to be displayed "prominently on the grounds of" the courthouse, not just on top of the building

Permits flags to be hoisted "at" the courthouse in addition to "above" it, providing more flexibility in flag placement

Maintains existing requirements that flags must be at least 4 by 8 feet in size and displayed from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on legal holidays

County sheriffs remain responsible for ensuring proper flag display on holidays and other days designated by the county board
