Mandates hospitals to report positive fentanyl test results in deidentified form to the Department of Public Health through the State-designated health information exchange

Exempts hospitals that do not have chemical analyzer equipment from these requirements

Preserves existing Good Samaritan immunity laws protecting individuals seeking or providing medical assistance after drug or alcohol ingestion

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
