Ratifies Illinois' participation in the Nurse Licensure Compact, allowing registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) with multistate licenses to practice in their home state and all other compact member states without obtaining additional licenses

Requires nurses under the Compact to complete 20 hours of approved continuing education every 2-year license renewal cycle, including mandatory training on child abuse reporting, Alzheimer's disease, implicit bias, and sexual harassment

Prohibits Illinois from sharing contents of nationwide criminal history background checks conducted for multistate licensure with the Interstate Commission or other states

Excludes advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) from the Compact's provisions and specifies the Compact does not supersede existing Illinois labor laws

Requires employers hiring nurses with multistate licenses from other states to attest that the nurse has submitted required demographic information (including Illinois Nursing Workforce Center survey) and completed continuing education requirements within 30 days of employment
