Amends the Decennial Committees on Local Government Efficiency Act to exempt fire protection districts established under the Fire Protection District Act from the definition of "governmental unit"

Fire protection districts will no longer be subject to the decennial review requirements that apply to other local government units

The Act currently requires periodic reviews of local governmental units to assess efficiency, but municipalities and counties are already excluded from the definition

This change adds fire protection districts to the list of exempt entities alongside municipalities and counties
