IL HB2344

Amends the Property Tax Code to require township assessors in counties with populations between 700,000 and 725,000 residents to provide property record cards in digital format when requested by the supervisor of assessments

The digital format requirement applies only when the supervisor of assessments specifically requests it and must be compatible with the supervisor's existing system

Effective date for the digital format requirement is January 1, 2026

Applies specifically to counties under township organization where township and multi-township assessors maintain property records

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
