IL HB2349

Amends the Property Tax Code to change political party requirements for county boards of review, which consist of 3 members

Establishes that no more than 2 members of a board of review may be affiliated with the same political party

Removes the current requirement that 2 members must be from the party that received the highest vote for any county office in the last general election

Applies the same political composition rule to boards of review appointed by boards of county commissioners under Section 6-30

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
