Expands the definition of "law enforcement officer" in the Law Enforcement Officer-Worn Body Camera Act to include auxiliary officers assigned to public service

Adds a new definition of "auxiliary officer" as individuals serving municipal police agencies under Section 3.1-30-20 of the Illinois Municipal Code or county sheriffs under Section 3-6013 of the Counties Code

Amends the Law Enforcement Camera Grant Act to allow grants for purchasing or leasing officer-worn body cameras and associated technology for auxiliary officers in addition to regular law enforcement officers

Extends eligibility for camera operation training grants to include auxiliary officers alongside law enforcement officers
