IL HB2355

Amends the Counties Code to allow Kane County to lease county-owned property, structures, or facilities for athletic purposes when the property was already being used for athletic purposes before the county acquired it

Requires new leases under this provision to guarantee that any organization using the land at the time of the lease can continue using it for the same purposes throughout the lease term

Mandates that the county (as lessor) must continue to employ, in the same capacity, any workers who were providing services on the property when the lease is executed

Applies specifically to Kane County properties that serve the public interest or benefit county residents through athletic use
