Creates new Air Medal license plates available beginning in the 2027 registration year for Illinois residents who have been awarded the Air Medal by the United States Armed Forces

Plates may be affixed to passenger vehicles, motorcycles, autocycles, and motor vehicles weighing not more than 8,000 pounds

Plates must display the Air Medal, with all other design and color elements at the Secretary of State's discretion

Applicants must provide appropriate documentation proving receipt of the Air Medal, as determined by the Secretary of State

Plates may be issued as vanity or personalized plates and are not required to include the "Land of Lincoln" designation
