IL HB2407

Amends the Illinois School Code to restrict when remote learning days can count as pupil attendance days for calculating school term length

Remote learning days and blended remote learning days will no longer automatically count as attendance days unless established under specific provisions (Section 10-30 or 34-18.66)

Maintains that up to 5 remote and blended remote learning planning days established under the specified sections still count toward the required 176 days of pupil attendance

School districts must still provide a minimum 185-day school term to ensure 176 days of actual pupil attendance
