IL HB2455

Adds the Secretary of Early Childhood (or designee) as a new ex-officio voting member of the Advisory Council on the Education of Children with Disabilities, increasing total council membership from 27 to 28 members

Requires the Council to establish a committee specifically focused on ensuring children ages 3 to 5 with disabilities have access to high-quality, inclusive early-childhood services in the least restrictive environment across all early learning settings

Amends the Children with Disabilities Article of the School Code (105 ILCS 5/14-3.01)

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
