Amends the Park District Code to extend the waiting period for implementing board membership changes (expansion or reduction) from 197 days to 225 days after a referendum or resolution is approved

Extends the timeline for commissioner term length changes (from 6-year to 4-year terms or vice versa) to take effect at the first regular park district election at least 225 days (previously 197 days) after approval

Changes the deadline threshold for filling board vacancies with more than 28 months remaining in the term from 123 days to 151 days before the next regularly scheduled election

When a vacancy occurs with more than 28 months left but less than 151 days before the next election, the appointed person serves until the second regularly scheduled election rather than the first

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
