Establishes the State Instructional Technology Advisory Board within the State Board of Education to provide guidance, oversight, and evaluation of education technologies, including artificial intelligence, with 17 members serving 2-year terms including teachers, principals, superintendents, school board members, and AI experts

Requires the State Board of Education to develop standards for AI safety, transparency, data privacy, and educational quality, and to publish an evaluated list of commonly used AI tools in schools by December 31, 2025, with annual updates thereafter

Mandates the development of guidance for school districts on AI use in education, covering basic AI concepts, best practices for implementation, addressing bias and privacy concerns, and developing student AI literacy

Expands annual school district reporting requirements to include how students, teachers, and district employees use artificial intelligence

Adds instruction on safe and responsible use of artificial intelligence to the required Internet safety education curriculum for grades 3-12, including recognizing AI-generated false representations such as sexually explicit deepfake images and videos
