Allows the Chief County Assessment Officer in counties with 3,000,000+ inhabitants (Cook County) to request full Social Security numbers or individual taxpayer identification numbers for all household members when processing Low-Income Senior Citizens Assessment Freeze Homestead Exemption applications

Permits automatic renewal of the senior freeze exemption without requiring a new annual application if the assessment officer can independently verify the applicant still owns and resides in the property and household income still qualifies

Requires assessment officers who auto-renew exemptions to notify applicants of the renewal decision and remind them of their ongoing duty to report any changes affecting eligibility

Requires assessment officers who cannot verify eligibility to notify homeowners of deficiencies and provide an opportunity to cure those deficiencies before denying the exemption
