Requires IEP teams to discuss graduation status and implications of high school graduation with students with disabilities, their parents/guardians, and designated representatives by the school year in which the student turns 16

Mandates that students and families be informed that graduation with a regular high school diploma terminates eligibility for a free appropriate public education (FAPE) under federal and state law

Clarifies that students with disabilities can continue receiving IEP services until the end of the school year in which they turn 22 when appropriate to meet IEP goals

Makes a technical correction changing "individualized education plan" to "individualized education program" to align with standard terminology

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
